Happy Random is the unique and unusual jewelry designs of Lauren Greenfield.
Growing up in Chicago I was always surrounded by art. I fell in love with jewelry at a young age, I was always fascinated with how it was made and began making my own in elementary school. My love of jewelry making lead me to pursue a degree in fine arts at the University of New Mexico, I have been practicing silversmithing for over 10 years. I focus on lost wax casting, an ancient process using a one-time use plaster mold. Each of my pieces is one of a kind. I work in sterling silver and semi-precious stones with the occasional bronze piece.
My inspiration comes from the happy randoms of everyday life, whether it be a child’s toy, nature or even an experience, anything and everything can spark inspiration. I hope that my designs will create curiosity, conversation, and above all happiness.
